We are here to support you through prenatal screening and testing if you have chosen to have this to find out the chance of your baby having Down’s syndrome.

If you have received news that there is a chance your baby may have Down’s syndrome or you may be considering further testing we are here to support you confidentially and answer any questions you may have to help you understand more about what life can be like with a baby with Down’s syndrome.


Congratulations, you’re expecting a baby! Knowing your baby will be born with Down’s syndrome means that you can be prepared for when your baby arrives. We know you might have lots of questions or some things may be worrying you right now, whatever you are feeling we are here to support you to learn more about having a baby with Down’s syndrome.

We have six regional Family Support Service Officers based across Scotland, some are parents themselves, who are available to answer any questions you may have and for any support you may need.
