Congratulations on the birth of your baby and welcome to our Community! We hope you are enjoying spending precious time together and getting to know each other.

We have been supporting people with Down’s syndrome and their families for over 40 years. We have a wide range of services and support available for you and your baby and have a vibrant community that you are very welcome to be part of including local parent led branches, a network of parents across Scotland and an online members Hub.

We know you might have lots of questions or some things may be worrying you right now, whatever you are feeling we want you to know that we are here to support you with any information you need or to answer any questions you want to ask.

We can put you in touch with other parents should you feel that would be helpful. We have 10 local branches …….

“When my adorable, funny, mischievous and clever girl Lucy arrived to join our family she was perfect, she was beautiful, she completed our world with Sam her 5-year-old big brother completely in love with his wee sister.

To ensure you have access to all the information and support you need we would like to gift you a year’s free membership with us. It’s really easy to join online at no cost for the first year here.

Down’s syndrome is beautiful and I am the luckiest sister in the world to be able to have all the love and affection Tommy brings into my life.

We hope that you received a copy our new parents pack from your midwife. This was thoughtfully created for you by a group of parents who have been exactly where you are now and includes information about babies who have Down’s syndrome and stories from parents about their own experiences of when their baby was born and how they loved spending precious time together and getting to know each other. If you haven’t received a copy of our new baby booklet, please let us know and we will get one to you.
