“It’s a real pleasure for KAEFER to support Down Syndrome Scotland as our charity of the year. Never more so than in these challenging times have our charities needed our support. We are happy not only to help with fundraising for DSS to continue helping people who have Down’s syndrome live full and rewarding lives, but also to take the opportunity to challenge business to raise our game with respect to inclusivity, diversity and equality. Our KAEFER family are already looking forward to creating some exciting events in 2021 with DSS and I guarantee we’ll also have a bit of fun working together.”

Chris Foulkes, CEO, KAEFER UK & Ireland

“Fife Fabrications (FiFab) have long chosen DSS as one of our nominated charity partners. The great work they do is truly amazing in making a difference to so many people and families.”

John Penman, Managing Director, Fife Fabrications

“The main reason fundraising and raising awareness is so important to me is because my younger brother Cameron has Down’s Syndrome, and he has brought so much joy and purpose into my life. I’m extremely grateful for the lessons, patience and deeper understanding he’s taught me towards people with Down’s Syndrome and disabilities. I want to hopefully share that with others while supporting Down’s Syndrome Scotland. I think its admirable that they are the only charity in Scotland dedicated to supporting people with Down’s Syndrome and provide vital services to people/families. I was lucky enough to welcome Ashley Taylor, Corporate and Events Fundraiser at DSS into our Glasgow office and present a cheque to the charity after my fundraising for World Down’s Syndrome Day. Ashley was able to tell my team and I more about the charity, the services they provide and what the money raised will go towards. I’m very thankful that Ashley reached out to me as it’s opened the door to more fundraising opportunities that I may not have been involved with/aware of.”
